Please use this form ONLY if you are wanting to enroll into a course here at Texas State University but you are taking the prerequisite off campus at another institution.

This form is for students needing override in the following courses only:

Students taking Finance classes
Students taking Economics class
Students taking Business Law classes

FOR NON-BUSINESS MAJORS:

Please consult your academic advising center for course evaluation requests. Substitution approvals for business coursework (including for Business Administration minors) is determined by the college who oversees your major.

Important Information

Regularly monitor your Texas State email for correspondence regarding your next steps for an override.
If you are provided a prerequisite override, it is YOUR responsibility to provide us proof of the grade you received at the off campus institution.
All grades must be submitted by the Friday before the semester starts.
We will NOT remind you to provide us with your grade and if you fail to get us the grade by the time period provided you will be dropped from the advanced course, and we will not provide any additional overrides.
